Dane Svenrou

Dane Svenrou is a fine artist with a BA in Theatre from the University of California, Irvine. He has exhibited his works at Verum Ultimum Art Gallery and Gallery 114 in Portland, receiving juried recognition. While living in California, he received Best in Show for his digital art in San Luis Obispo, and had his art printed in Stateside Magazine in Santa Barbara. He also pursued a career in graphic design, working on various projects throughout Los Angeles. Presently, he enjoys exploring with oils as well as POSCA paint markers on any surface, finding his stride with this medium in his current pieces.

Outside of fine art, Dane completed his first novel while homeschooling his two kids, pursuing a secondary career in writing.

His passion for creating deeply human narratives in all his works—through words, or paint, or ink, continues to evolve him as an artist. Dane strives to maintain a beginner’s mindset, learning something new with each line and layer.
